Keeping Our Focus In The Midst Of Frustration
Fear is an excellent motivator. Companies use it in their ad campaigns. If they can make you fearful they will compel you to buy their product.
Just as fear is a motivator, frustration works to the opposite. It drains you of the real reasons you do what you do. Instead of being productive with a pleasant attitude, you huff and puff and nearly blow every house down!
Fear does not belong in a Christian's life, and neither does frustration.
Situations that scream for frustration seem to be at every corner. Just listen to the news or look up your local news website, and everything from incarceration to incompetency will make your blood pressure rise.
As the recent pandemic has been upon us, there is all kinds of opinions. The Federal Government, the State Government, the Local Government, News Stations, Political Commentators, and don't forget, you and I, all have our opinions. This is a recipe for altercations and animosity.
But we must:
Remember it is just for a moment
I believe we can take heart that "this too shall pass!" So with that being said, now is not the time for our feeling and frustrations to drive us apart!
Problems pass on, but our words spoken in difficult times will be remembered for a lifetime!
I believe now is the time for the church to stay focused on what really matters. Not just in this moment, but for eternity! We warn people about living in the moment and ruining their future, but during this time may we not allow difficulties to divide us! Let's stand for God! Stand for the Truth! Stay Focused! And see the World Changed! It is time to trade our Frustrations for a Focused Life!
